Marie Beichert, CFRE
Principal

Thirty years of service in nonprofit, educational and governmental administration provides a broad base of expertise available to the clientele of Development Services. Marie is credentialed as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and has extensive experience in grantswriting, donor database management, prospect ID, project management, and systems development for growing organizations. Her clients range from hospitals and universities to neighborhood groups. She specializes in service to mission-driven community benefit organizations and has a special interest in evidence-based prison reentry programming. Following university work in Political Science and Theatre Arts, Ms. Beichert pursued certification in Nonprofit Administration and Law at UC Berkeley. She served as Assistant Director of the San Francisco Art Commission's Neighborhood Arts Program during the Moscone administration, where she administered five fledgling community cultural centers and the Scroungers's Center for Reusable Arts Parts (SCRAP). She served on the Boards of the Kingston Office of Community Development, the Kingston/Ulster Economic Development Zone, Hudson Valley Sustainable Communities Network, and the Women's Studio Workshop.
 

 Kathleen Greely
Consultant

Kathleen Greely is a visionary, with a demonstrated reputation as a fund development professional and has successfully contributed to community based fundraising events designed to address workforce development strategies and issues of social justice. She was recently named the AFP-GGC 2009 Chamberlain Scholar. With 20 years experience in Human Resources Development, a recruitment strategist; training and development specialist; foundation skills in sales and marketing, her degree concentration is in Management and Organizational Development, Spring Arbor University. Her areas of expertise include: negotiation and coordination of strategic alliances; business development; marketing management; administrative processes associated with strategic goals, organizational development and fund development that directly impact affordable housing, human services and economic opportunity for the underserved. Providing oversight and execution of strategic media plans, including branding, public relations and proposal writing, Kathleen is currently completing a fellowship through the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Multi-cultural Alliance (MCA).  As a result, she is launching a grant writer’s guild with specific interest in arts & culture, health, and affordable housing organizations.
