The Grant Writers Guild is a new group of experienced fund development professionals completing a fellowship through the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Multi-Cultural Alliance. The Multicultural Alliance (MCA) is a professional development and fellowship program for new and experienced fundraising professionals that takes into consideration issues of race and ethnicity, class, gender, and sexual orientation as they impact the fund development field and process. The GWG, founded by Kathleen Greely, offers grants research, grant writing and grant reporting services to startup and established nonprofit organizations that do not have their own development staff or need additional help to supplement their existing development staff. Fees are on a sliding scale.

We are currently in a recruitment mode; people of color are encouraged to apply. We graciously assist institutions and organizations in carrying out their missions when knowledge of the African American and other minorities’ experience, both academically and in an applied context, would enhance an organization’s ability to meet their objectives.
